Keep up With the Trends for 2016
Keep up With the Trends for 2016, by taking a fashion flashback. Sit back, relax and take a look into the future of fashion that is to come next year. After four long weeks that were spent in New York, Milan, London and Paris there were many trends featured that will pave the way of fashion in 2016. Now that the New Year is so close lets take a close look at all the trends that will be spotted in 2016.
Take me to Spain
(Oscar de la Renta, Proenza Schouler, Michael Kors, & Blugirl)
In Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2015 collection they brought Spanish flare to the runway. It seems many designers have also been inspired by Spaniard culture and have incorporated it into their collections for 2016. From bold red to flourishing prints I can say that 2016 is looking better already.
Ruffles, Ruffles & More Ruffles
(Alexander McQueen, Gucci, J.W. Anderson & more)
Bring out your inner girly girl and put on some ruffles! Flow everywhere you go with these soft and creamy collections. In 2016 just remember that you can’t go wrong with ruffles!
Free the Shoulders
(Milly, Guy Laroche, Chloe, Peter Pilotto)
From off the shoulder tops to shoulder cut outs, feel the breeze and rock this trend. There was not one covered shoulder on that runway and nobody was complaining.
Dangerously Denim
(Andrew gn, Chloé, Alexander Mcqueen, Chanel)
Why limit yourself to denim jeans when you can have denim everything? Get rid of your everyday jeans and find yourself the perfect denim outfits! If its a dress, or coat, you’ll be sure to rock it.
Skivvies & Skin
(Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Chloé, John Galliano)
Pieces that are usually seen in dark settings will take their place in the spotlight. These collections were inspired by lingerie and include lace, sheer, and lots of skin. Are you brave enough to wear one of these pieces?
Net is all you need
(Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Marchesa)
I’ve been wondering why designers are so keen on revealing so much skin until I saw these designs and understood. Never has net looked so classy and chic.
I hope you’re ready for 2016, and shop all the latest trends. Happy New Year!
