Unique Date Night Ideas Miami
The way that everything changed in March, made date nights a little more difficult, so we had to get creative! We started off having date nights at home and came up with about 21 fun things to do! Once everything started opening up, we wanted to keep up our fun and unique date night ideas and explore Miami while we were at it! We ended up getting a little creative with our weekly ‘Wednesdate’ and I figured I would share with you guys some of the fun dates that we went on and the great places we ended up finding.
Living in Miami, there are so many beautiful places to check out and so many things to do. It’s so easy to pick a restaurant for a date night because you know the food will be great, along with the company, but why not up the game and check out everything else Miami has to offer? Whether that’s kayaking, going to the beach, or even taking a walk in one of the beautiful gardens we have over here. Here are 7 unique date night ideas in Miami
1. Cooking Class!

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know my obsession for Italian food, so it’s no surprise that I scouted the best Italian cooking classes and I came across COOKINGCLASSESMIAMI! If dinner dates are your go-to, why not switch it up and take a cooking class? These are so fun and you can pair the class with some nice wine and learn how to make some delicious food. If you’ve been looking to try a cooking class, this is the place for you!!
They have so many different classes, whether it’s for wine & mixology, a pastry class, or a pasta making class, you’re bound to learn a lot and leave with a delicious recipe. We ended up making some fresh pasta with the most delicious sauce, and left with a Nidus Foods package for future dinners! Which if you’re based in Miami, 100000% recommend their fresh pre-packaged dinners, because they are actually delicious and SO easy to make.
We also took the class in the FLORENSE showroom and it was so beautiful. We fell in love with the kitchen while cooking because everything was so aesthetically pleasing and convenient to use. The interiors in this showroom were just stunning so beware, you might go in for a cooking class and leave with a remodeled home! All in all, a cooking class should definitely be at the top of your list because it is such a great experience. You’ll even learn a new recipe that you guys could make together any other time!

2. Glassblowing

Although this might not be in Miami, it’s still a place worth checking out! Hollywood Hot Glass offers some iconic hot glass class programs with workshops that teach you all about glassblowing. You’ll get to work hand in hand with a professional and create a beautiful piece in just 20 minutes. I’ve actually been dying to check this place out because it sounds SO cool, this should definitely be at the top of the list for your date night ideas.
3. Painting with a Twist

If you guys want to bring out your inner artist and have a great time drunk painting, this is the spot for you!! Painting with a Twist offers some super fun painting classes that are BYOB! You can schedule a class depending on what they’re going to paint that day and plan it out like that. Bring your favorite bottle of wine and get ready to express yourselves on your canvas with this fun class.
4. Picnic

This is honestly such an easy date and you’re guaranteed to have the best time. Whether you have a little picnic in your backyard, like we did, or take a trip to the park. The essentials for a perfect picnic date night in Miami are: charcuterie board with all of your favorites, a speaker, soft picnic blanket, wine (duh), and a sunset. I’d also recommend some pillows too if you want to get even more comfy and stargaze!
The ideal time for a picnic in Miami is a sunset, when it’s not blazing hot and you can watch the sun go down. For this date, we ordered some Frontera wine because they have super cool interactive labels. Each bottle has it’s own Spotify playlist that matches with the mood of the wine, this takes off the stress of trying to find a good playlist for the night.
5. Watch the Sunrise

Living in Florida, we should be taking advantage of the beautiful sunrises and making the most of that moment! Although it’s more of a day occasion, we’re going to still call it a date night, shh! This is such a relaxing experience where you guys have the beach to yourselves, are able to relax in the water, and eat something light.
6. Candle Making Class

This has to be one of the most unique date night ideas in Miami! I found them on social media and fell in love with their aesthetics. I knew I had to try them out for myself because I LOVE candles and thought it was so cool that they offered classes! Jordin and I went for a night class and had the best time!! They had so many different scents to choose from and little decorations to add to them as well.
It’s the perfect date night because you can make your candles and go to dinner after while your candles dry or vice versa! You have about 40 minutes for the candles to dry so you can go eat, walk around the shops, or pick it up another day (they hold it for 30 days). You guys have to put this on your date night list and book your class HERE.
Check out what the class was like below!
7. Day Trip to the Keys

Take a day off and spend the day at the keys eating some good fish, key lime pie, and kayaking through the mangroves. Since I have a house in the keys, we love going down there to relax by the pool and take the kayak out. We took the kayak out through the canal and explored all of the little channels, taking our own little tour.
It is such a peaceful time and there is a little secret place by kayak that I’ve had since I was a kid that’s full of jellyfish and I love going over there. However, there are so many little spots like that in the mangroves all over the keys for you to check out! If you’re not a kayaking person either, you could always rent a jet-ski too and take a tour!
8. Take the Brightline to Palm Beach

If you haven’t taken the Brightline yet, what are you waiting for? This is such a great way to get out of the house, relax, and try something new! Spend the day in a new place or just head over to Palm Beach for dinner and take a stroll around the shops on Worth Avenue.
However, the shops do close a little early, so I would suggest hitting Worth Avenue first and then dinner! Even if you take your car to make the trip, I promise it will be so worth it and the perfect way to get some quality alone time on the way over there.
9. Winery

Now, if you didn’t know there was a winery in Miami, like me, let me just tell you this is a MUST! We’ve all been to Knaus berry farm and picked strawberries, but did you know there was also a beautiful winery in the area as well? Schnebly winery is a beautiful winery that features a lush courtyard and natural coral waterfalls. They offer wine tastings and have tours to take you through the estate, learn of their history, and the wine making process.
I hope you guys got some great date night ideas and hopefully learned of some new places to check out! I’d love to hear if you’ve been to any of these spots and what you think, feel free to leave a comment below! I hope hearing from you guys…
