NYFW 2017: Best Shows
NYFW 2017: Best Shows! This year NFW brought all the models, celebrities, and bloggers out to showcase the hottest designs of the year. Most of the designs shown in these shows will foreshadow the trends that will be coming up. One thing that could be seen as an overall trend this year would be color. Everything was very vibrant and fresh.
Alice + Olivia
Alice + Olivia Spring 2018 RTW
Colors, colors and more colors! Stacy Bendet, the creative director, managed to add the whole rainbow to her collection and somehow it definitely worked out. I have to say this was one of my favorite shows.
Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs Spring 2018 Ready-To-Wear
Marc Jacobs stuck with their trademark daisies along with some strikingly bright colors in their designs.
Victoria Beckham
- VIctoria Beckham Spring 2018 Ready-to-Wear
Victoria Beckham has always been known as a fashion icon. Her line has always been an accurate representation of her. Her designs have never failed to give off classy and effortless vibes.
BCBG Max Azaria
- BCBG Max Azria RTW Spring 2018
This collection is definitely a feminine look with romantic vibes. The beige and nice pastels blend well together to give it a refreshing style.
Libertine
- Libertine Spring 2018 RTW
Johnson Hartig, Libertine designer gave us a psychedelic experience at this show with the usual display of colors, prints, and textures.
Alexander Wang
- Alexander Wang Spring 2018 RTW
This was one of the most talked about shows this year. Mainly because Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford’s daughter, who is only 16 years old opened the show. The collection was very sleek and something we would definitely expect from this label.
Jeremy Scott
- Jeremy Scott Spring 2018 RTW
Jeremy gave us everything we were hoping for in this collection. We got colors, sparkles, and cartoons all over and I am loving it.
