Full Art Basel Schedule with Alec Monopoly. Yesterday was the opening of Art Basel in Miami. This is a chance to sip on some champagne and walk around a gallery pretending to understand the meaning of a giraffe painting. Hahaha, but really, in all seriousness, it is a week full of many events and talented artists. If there’s one thing to say about Art Basel, it’s that anything goes.

The art pieces on displays in the gallery aren’t the only thing being showcased. Fashion is a major part of Art Basel and if you take a stroll through Wynwood, you can easily come to this conclusion. There are no boundaries when it comes to the wardrobe at Art Basel. This is your time to go out, express yourself, and have fun!

I had the opportunity to attend a private event with the talented ‘Alec Monopoly’. Originally from New York, Alec Monopoly is a graffiti artist that creates many unique pieces. He was hosting an event with TAG Heuer, the watch brand.

Alec Monopoly is also well known for painting the Birkin bags of many celebrities. Here are some of my favorites.
