Dressing for the Runway: Miami Swim Week 2018 Looks. This year Miami Swim Week fulfilled all our expectations with some great shows and events. “Swim Week is the biggest platform for the swimwear industry in the U.S. It could be a chance to find the hottest new brand, or the chance to find a new distributor, a new contact, a press opportunity — it can be anything,” Cece Feinberg, Owner of Cece Feinberg PR, said of this event.
If there’s one thing to say, it was a very busy swim week filled with beautiful runway models and designer swimwear. Many brands showcased their latest collections this year, some for the first time like Filthy Haanz. Then you have the famous swimwear brand, who came back for its third year in a row like Baes and Bikini’s. The 36th annual trade show, SwimShow, which is sponsored by the Swimwear Association of Florida was held at the Miami Beach Convention from July 14 to 17.
Cabana and Hammock also brought out their annual trade shows located at the tents on Collins Park to give us a sneak peek into what is new trends are coming in. “Now with the other trade shows, the runway shows, and all the other satellite events — Miami Swim Week is to the swimwear industry what Art Basel Miami Beach is to the art world,” Feinberg adds. Some of my favorite events included the PINKO opening, Monica Hansen show, and of course the Aguaclara runway. Before all the madness, I planned out all my outfits with the perfect Nordstrom jewelry to pair off every outfit! Scroll down to shop similar looks!
