Miami Swim Week: Monica Hansen Beachwear

Miami Swim Week has started off with a bang! Pop-ups, runways, brunches, events, you name it! The first show I attended to start off swim week was the Monica Hansen Beachwear runway. Although swim week has just begun, I have to say that I really loved the entire collection. There were many pieces I saw and knew would lead the path to the swimwear trends this year. A few things I noticed was the “under-boob” trend. As well as see-through and cut-out.

All of the pieces that were showcased were extremely daring and pushed the limits of swimwear. The cut-out swimsuits were very well done and didn’t make the suit look too scandalous, but just right.

I love the idea of the see-through jacket with the swim suit. It makes it so much more stylish and really redefines the way we sport our swimwear.

This cut-out suit is the perfect way to show off those abs and stand out in such a great color!

This is an interesting trend that I think will continue to evolve in the swim world. It’s a very interesting design that we haven’t seen before I love it!

I’m loving the cut-out design on this piece especially. It’s so unique and the animal print adds that bit of flare we love.
