Although we’ve seen it in previous collections, neon is in the spotlight and here to stay. The shows that we’ve seen this year all point towards neon being the latest 2019 trend. The Spring/Summer 2019 runways were painted in these bright colors. The Fall/Winter collections are now showing us that neon will continue to make an appearance this season.
Fluorescent shades have already been present in the fashion scene this year, but we all thought it was a passing Instagram trend. The runways seen in New York, London, Milan, and Paris took ahold of these shades and proved them to be a standing trend. Blinding yellow, hot pink, and flaming red will be entering the fashion world one way or another.
We can see how neon has already been seen on the red carpet this year at the Oscars. Hot pink seemed to be the theme of the night with all the celebrities dripping in neon. You can see the article here.

Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 2019
This to be one of the best shows of the season. The use of blacklight in the presentation brought out the beautiful colors that were used and got the audience to see the piece stand alone. The use of texture, like the fur and fuzzy material just makes it so much better.
