Trends: Belt Bags, The Ultimate Summer Item

Belt Bags

The hottest fashion trend this summer is belt bags. Not only are they cute, but they’re super comfortable especially when going out. These could be mistaken for your average fanny pack, but don’t get it twisted. These are more a belt accessory then an actual bag.

They’re perfect because they let you keep all your necessities in one place without having to haul a bag around. These are some of my favorites, definitely great for traveling too, that way you won’t have to search around in your carry-on for your phone or credit card.

Top 5 Florida Springs to visit this Summer

As Summer approaches, we’re all getting ready to plan some vacations. If you’re planning on making a trip to Florida this summer, or are from Florida (like me) and want to go on a little adventure, here’s some ideas. Usually when I go home in the summer I tend to get a flight anywhere else, but I’ve never really ventured through Florida and seen all the pretty spots we have right here. These are all the springs on my Florida bucket list.

1. Weeki Wachee Springs

Weeki Wachee springs is an enchanted place where you can see live mermaids, take a trip on a river boat cruise, learn about Florida wildlife, and swim in the Buccaneer Bay. You can also rent a paddle boat and go down to the Weeki Wachee river.

2. Manatee Springsย

This state park has trails that will lead you around deep sinkholes, walks through the forest, and a spring with extremely clear water. The hue of the spring is actually from microscopic limestone particles in the water.

3. Wakulla Springs

Wakulla Springs is known for having one of the largest and deepest freshwater springs in the world. There are daily guided riverboat tours as well as glass boat tours where you can see the clear water up to 75 feet.

4. Madison Blue Springs

This is considered one of Florida’s top cave dives and is a hundred-foot spring that allows for non-diving fun as well.

5. Devil’s Den Spring

This is definitely a place that has been on my bucket list for a while. It’s a prehistoric spring good for snorkeling and diving. They even have cabins and parks to stay the night.

Have you been to any of these? Let me know in the comments!

My Travel Essentials.

Traveling is a part of my monthly agenda, whether it’s for work or leisure. For each trip, I always bring my favorite on-flight travel essentials. I’ve been asked what I usually take on my flights, so I thought I might as well make a post and share my go-to items…

Carry on: Britto Hearts Carnival

If there’s one thing to invest in, it’s a carry on as it’s an essential item when traveling. It’s actually super durable and of course chic, which also helps whenever I need to check it in as it’s easy to find. It also fits in the overhead cabins so that’s a plus. I love Romero Brito also, so the fact that the luggage is cute and travel ready is a plus!

Backpack: GG Blooms Backpack

This is probably one of my most extra items, but I love it. When looking for one, I had to remember everything I needed to fit in it: my laptop, camera, book, makeup bag, and some clothes. I saw this bag in the Gucci store when I was in Milan and just fell in love. It was the perfect size, and I knew I could use it on all my trips and stay looking fabulous.

Lips: Balm Dotcom

Dehydration is the one thing I face when traveling, so I see keeping a bottle of water on the flight also a key to flying. Keeping my lips hydrated is also important so I use Glossier’s Balm Dotcom. It’s a long-lasting and multipurpose lip balm that has antioxidants to nourish and repair dry skin. My favorite is the Birthday flavor.

Face: Real Fresh Green Tea Cleansing Stick

Being on a 15 hour flight can be brutal and rough on your skin. This Korean green tea cleansing stick is the perfect travel item and is an all-in-one cleanser. It has 13 natural oils to breakdown makeup, green tea leaves to exfoliate and a low ph to cleanse your skin. This will wash you of all that oil without drying your skin in the process, since it’s also a solid stick you know it won’t explode in your luggage.

Skin: L’Occitane Hand Cream

Going back to the dryness accompanied with flying, I always bring a small hand cream to help moisturize in flight. This is one of my favorites as it quickly absorbs all dryness and doesn’t leave you with sticky oily hands. It also smells good, so that’s a plus!

Eyes: Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

This is a must for red-eye trips as those under-eye bags can sneak up on you quick. I keep this concealer in my makeup bag along with my cleansing stick, balm, and hand cream. It’s very slim and has high coverage so it’s great for traveling.

Facial Mask: Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Sheet Mask

This is a travel must, especially on those long flights. Infused with natural aloe vera extract, phytocollagen, and vitamin e, it soothes dryness, hydrates, and revitalizes your skin. The best part is that it’s 100% cruelty-free.

Hottest Glasses of the Season 2018

As Spring rolls in, sunglasses have become our go to accessory this season. As we go into an even hotter month in the weeks to come, we should all be up to date on the latest trends in the 2018 collections.

These glasses are some unforgettable pieces that will make a simple outfit pop. Although I’m more of a crystal-embellished kinda girl, I’ve featured other pairs that more low-key. Most of these aren’t for everyday use, but honestly that’s up to you!
